Alice tried everything to get Evangeline out of her entrapment, but when she tried to cut her open, even if she was as careful as possible, a tiny stream of blood was running down the black and shiny material and a scared squeak left the gaping hole where Eva's tongue was twitching useless inside the metal tube. Surprisingly the bleeding stopped in under a minute and by the time Alice got a patch there was no evidence of a cut left.

Evangeline was growing desperate, she came this far and now they fail at getting her out of a costume? After her exhausting escape, she was just tired.

Alice carried her to a bed, gave her a glass of water and wished her a good night. Moments later she was fast asleep.

Evangeline had tumultuous dreams. She only woke up once when somebody joined her under the blanket from behind and their arms around her.
“Hoo ih' eh-e?”
“Its just me, i didn't mean to wake you up” — Alice whispered.

Although Alice hands begin to wander to places Eva would entitle inappropriate, she didn't mind. She was just to tired to say something and in all those months she forgot how comforting the warm touch of somebody else could be.

This time she fell asleep, her dreams were much more calm and peaceful.

Evangeline was woken up again by Alice who wished her a good morning. She told her, she canceled lecture to stay with her. Alice seemed to be in a good mood and started feeding her with some ice-cream.
